Successes on the 81th Anniversary of the Club
Bydgostia Regional Rowing Association was founded on 4th December, 1928. The Club was A Team Polish Champion in the following years: 1938, 1966, 1967, 1970 and for the successive seventeen years: 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009.
In its 81-year-old history, the Club’s athletes have won 81 medals during world events (including 28 gold, 30 silver and 23 bronze medals), while at the Polish Championships they have won as many as 1230 medals (508 gold, 380 silver and 342 bronze).
The greatest achievement in the history of the Club are Robert Sycz’s two gold Olympic medals in lightweight double category LM2x (with Tomasz Kucharski - AZS AWF Gorzów Wlkp.) won during the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000 and in the Athens in 2004 and Miłosz Bernatajtys, Bartłomiej Pawełczak silver Olympic medal in LM4- (with Paweł Rańda, Łukasz Pawłowski) during the Olympic Games in Pekin 2008.
