Successes on the 84th Anniversary of the Club

    Bydgostia  Regional Rowing Association was founded on 4th December, 1928. The Club was A Team Polish Champion in the following years: 1938, 1966, 1967, 1970 and for the successive twenty years: 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012.

    In its 84-year-old history, the Club’s athletes have won 113 medals during world events  (including 40 gold, 38 silver and 35 bronze medals), while at the Polish Championships they have won as many as 1430 medals (586 gold, 435 silver and 409 bronze).

    The greatest achievement in the history of the Club are Robert Sycz’s two gold Olympic medals in lightweight double category LM2x (with Tomasz Kucharski - AZS AWF Gorzów Wlkp.) won during the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000 and in the Athens in 2004 and Miłosz Bernatajtys, Bartłomiej Pawełczak silver Olympic medal in LM4- (with Paweł Rańda, Łukasz Pawłowski) during the Olympic Games in Pekin 2008. Magdalena Fularczyk bronze Olympic medal in W2x (with Julia Michalska) during the Olympic Games in London 2012.
